I have to write a mock trial opening statement.. the case is on domestic abuse. the client i am representing (defense) killed her husband WITH NO INTENT to protect herself and her son.. she is being brought up against second degree manslaughter charges. there have beeen many visits to the doctor because of her abusive husband & they both told the doc lies about what really happened because she was threatened..
