What's more painful tearing your ligaments or breaking a bone?

At the start of the year I was riding a horse but then it got scared and jumped and I fell off but my foot was caught in the part where your foot goes on the other side and it dragged me along anyways I tore all of my ligaments in my foot and ivwas just wondering what's more painful breaking a bone or tearing your ligaments?
